Bread Workshops
The studio organizes various workshops centered around bread, designed for participants of all ages. Participants are invited to knead the dough and discover the art of baking through a collective and creative approach. By reconnecting with the tradition of communal village ovens, the collective recreates these moments of sharing and conviviality around the shared baking of bread. These spaces become playgrounds that encourage a rethinking of our relationship with food, as well as with moments of connection and sharing.
The studio offers a diverse range of workshops adapted to the needs and preferences of each participant. These workshops can explore the different stages of baking, focus on more specific sessions around decoration, or simply create an opportunity to enjoy a convivial moment together.
Studio CoPain has developed a range of playful, collective tools. Inspired by traditional baking machines, the studio has redesigned them to be low-tech, allowing for collaborative use. The dough ball machine, for instance, enables participants to work together to create perfectly divided dough portions, while the laminator invites teamwork in flattening dough. Additionally, the studio has created custom marking tools, including stamps and cutters, that allow participants to leave their unique imprint on the bread. These tools not only enhance the visual identity of Studio Copain's creations but also encourage individual creativity within a collective framework.
If the subjects we explore resonate with you, we would be delighted to hear from you. We would be happy to discuss how we could tailor one of our workshops or collaborate on creating something new together.
